The Norwalk property, which dates to around 1800, was purchased by the Glazer Group in 2015 and underwent an extensive two-year renovation.

In its long history, it's been a tavern, a textile factory, and a speakeasy. It is now a six-suite inn.

A restaurant serving traditional American fare will open sometime in the fall and rely on fresh ingredients grown on site.

Glazer Group is also renovating the nearby general story, which they will open as a mercantile in early 2018 complete with a cafe, a spa, and a variety of items for sale.
