Christy Kinsman, owner of The Little House Shoppe (TLHS) in Ridgefield, is closing her store on Danbury Road — and opening another one, albeit in a new location.
The Angel Cooperative, featuring gifts, home décor, and spiritual items, as well as the area's only shungite room (a healing space), will open after Labor Day.
It will be located next to Tusk & Cup. In fact, she is partnering with the coffee shop's owner, Laura Ancona, on this new venture.
The goal of TLHS, which was in business six years, was to infuse her customers with positivity and exceed one's shopping expectations.
Now, she's taking that a step further as she's become increasingly more committed to practicing kindness and creating harmony and balance.
"Just like TLHS was your go-to place for gifts, decorating and inspiration, The Angel Cooperative will be all those and more," she said.
Kinsman, who for years has staged homes and helped with interior decorating, has become fully certified in feng shui design so she can maximize the benefits of this ancient practice for her clients.
To that end, The Angel Cooperative will offer complete decorating services including full room design, custom window treatments, re-upholstery, paint plans, and furniture sourcing.
In the meantime, it's sale time at TLHS, with everything on clearance for the next two weeks.
