STRATFORD, Conn. — The Lazy Dog Tavern, the newest eatery on the downtown Stratford scene, will be hosting a grand opening ribbon-cutting next week.
The Lazy Dog Tavern opened its doors at 2505 Main St. in early November and will make it official with the ceremony at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8. The public is invited to attend.
The restaurant's Facebook page says Chris Delmonico and Niall O'Neill are hands-on owners. "You can always catch them there, greeting you at the door or making sure you are having a great experience."
The casual restaurant is family friend and located in the center of Stratford, right across the street from the Stratford Train Station.
"The Lazy Dog was designed for locals to be able to have a enjoyable meeting place with family and friends," its Facebook page says.
The menu offers 12 different flavors of wings, homemade chips for the nachos, salad, pizzas with multiple toppings and 10 different flavors of burgers as well as seafood tacos and pepper-crusted tuna steak. It also offers a full kids menu for the younger set as well as a happy hour for adults.
