Nina Et Cetera Band Brings Jazz And Blues To Stratford Library

STRATFORD, Conn. -- The Stratford Library will present the Nina Et Cetera Band in a special concert entitled “Jazz and Blues: The Common Ground” on Friday, July 29 at 7 pm.

The band played for Stratford audiences last year with their musical tribute to country music superstar Maybelle Carter. The jazz concert is free and open to the public. 

Nina of the Nina Et Cetera Band will sing her interpretations of songs by such artists as Louise Armstrong, Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Bessie Smith, Ray Charles, Ella Fitzgerald and many others. Nina began studying guitar and singing at the age of seven with her current bass player Tim. 

Nina Et Cetera has been performing professionally for the past 10 years in just about every imaginable venue across the Tri-State area. “Jazz and Blues: The Common Ground” will take place in the Lovell Room of the Stratford Library with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and general seating.
