Stratford’s third annual Restaurant Week is being sponsored by The Jackson Law Group. This year they are trying something new with a week-long poker run. At each participating restaurant, each table ordering off the Restaurant Week menu will draw a card at random from the special Town of Stratford deck.
The card drawn or dealt by the person paying the check is recorded on their score card. At the end of the week, the winner of the event is the participant who makes the best five card poker hand.
Prizes for first, second and third place. Organizers of the event will be at Danny’s Drive In on Sunday April 10 from 12 to 2 p.m. to collect cards and select the winners. For information on participating restaurants and “Restaurant Week menus go to their website.
