STRATFORD, Conn. -- Fairfield University MFA candidates and alumni will read from their original works during “An Afternoon of Poetry and Prose” at the Stratford Library on Sunday, Jan. 17.

Works of fiction, non-fiction and poetry will be included in the presentation. Among those taking part will be Prof. Ben Fine, author Lynn Harris Hynesmann, David Legere, Taryn Williams, Katie Juliano, Anthony Perrota, Hayle Battaglia, Mary Linder, Ann McLellan Lardas, Lizzy Louise, Sean Buckley and Jillian Ross.

The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
