There is opposition to a Stratford-supported idea to trap and kill the animals, a decision voted on by the Roosevelt Forest Commission and supported by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, said the Connecticut Post.

One beaver is dead to date officials from Stratford told the Connecticut Post, said the report.
