According to a WOFL-TV Fox 35 Orlando report, the boat out of New Rochelle made landfall on a beach in Melbourne Beach on Tuesday as locals quickly whipped out their cell phones to take photos of the mysterious sailboat.

"New Rochelle, N.Y." appears written on the boat under its name, “Cuki."

The boat was reportedly abandoned, though according to Fox 35, it has “decent technology’ on board and some strange, rusted equipment, including a mannequin. It was most recently registered in Key West and may have been impacted by Hurricane Irma.

It is not clear how the boat landed in Melbourne Beach, or why its owner hasn't emerged.

The report states that if no one claims the boat, and if it doesn’t wash away again, it may have to be removed from the area via crane.
