Stratford Fire Department Mourns Passing Of Firefighter

STRATFORD, Conn. -- A Stratford firefighter and emergency medical technician died Monday at his home, according to the Connecticut Post.

Jason “Jay’’ Carrafiello, who was 38, was a Stratford and Connecticut EMT, the Connecticut Post reported.

Fire Marshall Brian Lampart told the Connecticut Post that they responded to the home of the married father of two because of "respiratory distress" at 12:45 p.m.

Carrafiello was a basketball coach at St. Joseph High School in Trumbull, said the Connecticut Post.
