STRATFORD, Conn. -- — A group of Stratford residents against developers building a AAA towing operations center to park and service its towing fleet in its neighborhood have won their battle in court, according to the Connecticut Post.

The center, approved last year by the Stratford Zoning Commission for 382 Ferry Boulevard, was struck down by Superior Court Judge Dale Radcliffe, who ruled the town was wrong to approve the center for the area, said the Connecticut Post.

The residents, mostly from Homestead and Willow Avenues, said they were not against the center, but rather they were against the commission's approval of a fleet operation that would serve no use to the neighborhood, added the Connecticut Post.
