STRATFORD, Conn. — The State Bond Commission recently approved a $1.2 million grant to the Sterling House Community Center in Stratford, the second of two installments in that amount for installation of an elevator and other accessibility and safety improvements.

Sterling House Community Center Inc. is dedicated to serving people of all ages from the toddler to the senior adult. The center in Stratford provides affordable social, educational, and recreational activities which assist them in their positive and healthy development.
