He was born in Bridgeport on Sept. 27, 1975, the son of Jerry and Margaret (Petrino) Ambrose of Shelton.
He was a graduate of Stratford High School and Southern Connecticut State University.
Ambrose most the life of the party and brought laughter and smiles to everyone around him. He was known for his legendary story-telling and loved nothing more than spending time with his beloved family, especially his daughter.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Ellie Ambrose and her mother Rita Ambrose of Stratford; his siblings, Gerald Ambrose and his wife Kimberly and their children Gerald Jr. and Ashley of Ansonia, Susan Beatty and her husband Kenneth of Stratford, Joseph Ambrose and his wife Jacquie and their children Victoria and Joseph Jr. of Stratford, and Michelle Goncalves of Shelton and her children Jerry and Brandon Goncalves; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may greet his family on Wednesday, Sept. 20, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, Sept. 21, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Church, 498 Second Hill Lane, Stratford.
Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Monroe.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make donations in his memory to the Ellie Ambrose Education Fund.
