As previously reported, firefighters battled a blaze in the buildings near East Main Street and Frog Pond Lane for several hours on Sunday afternoon.

Fire Marshal Brian Lampart declared on Monday that the two buildings were damaged beyond repair in the brush fire, Stratford Star said.

Lampart said the blaze appeared to be caused by a human, but was uncertain if it was intentional or accidental, reported Stratford Star.
