STRATFORD, Conn. -- A 32-year-old Bridgeport father is facing criminal charges after police say he put his infant at risk by engaging in a police pursuit Friday with the baby and a pregnant woman in the car, according to the Connecticut Post.
Andre Fernandez, of Hansen Street in Bridgeport, was released on bond after being charged with reckless driving, engaging police in a pursuit, risk of injury of a minor and interfering with police, the Connecticut Post says.
Police said they saw his car swerve on Barnum Avenue Cutoff, then nearly cause several accidents on I-95 while trying to escape police, the Connecticut Post reports.
