Lawrence Kendricks, 27, of Capital Avenue, was charged with interfering with an officer and breach of peace around 5:15 p.m., police said.

A police lieutenant at the scene saw a group leaving the Craft 260 Beer Fest Celebration with Kendricks, who became aggressive with another member of the group, police said.

Kendricks, who appeared “extremely intoxicated,” then entered a nearby restaurant, Shiki Hana Japanese Bistro, causing a disturbance there before officers detained him outside, police said.

He was released on a promise to appear in court on May 15, police said.
