Around 9:45 p.m., a Westport officer noticed a blue Nissa Maxima with an expired license plate traveling on the connector.

The driver identified himself by a fake name, but the officer was determined he was actually Zachary Archibald, 28, of Whitney Avenue, police said.

Archibald was arrested and charged with interfering with an officer, criminal impersonation, operating a motor vehicle while suspended, failure to carry a license and operating an unregistered motor vehicle, police said.

He was held on $1,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 16.
