BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- A Bridgeport man was charged with sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl while she was staying at his home, according to the Connecticut Post.
Police were called to Bridgeport Hospital on Aug. 7 on a report of a sexual assault victim, where the girl's father told officers that a family friend has sexually assaulted her a number of times between December and June, the Connecticut Post reported.
Officers confronted the friend, 41-year-old Elmer Flores of Bridgeport, who told them that he had had sex with the girl once, but said that she was the aggressor, the Connecticut Post reported. He told them she had offered to have sex with him for $20, according to the Connecticut Post.
Flores was charged with second-degree sexual assault, fourth-degree sexual assault, and risk of injury to a child, and was held in lieu of a $100,000 bond, according to the Connecticut Post.
