Bridgeport Woman Charged With Shoplifting Air Conditioner

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A Bridgeport woman was charged with shoplifting an air conditioner from a store in Milford over the summer, police said.

Sharon Woods, 48, of 334 Orchard St., No. 302, Bridgeport, took a $120 air conditioner from the Ocean State Job Lot on Bridgeport Avenue in Milford on July 10 without paying, police said.

She was arrested on an active warrant, and Milford police charged her with sixth-degree larceny. She was released on a promise to appear in court on Jan. 2.
