Catherine Joyce, 46, of Edgewood Place, was issued a misdemeanor summons for animal nuisance, second offense, and allowing a dog to roam after the 2:45 p.m. incident, police said.

Police said animal control officers had six previous accounts of Joyce allowing her dog Grayson to roam. She has three pending court cases involving the dog and a fourth logged under the name Catherine Russo, police said.

Joyce was released on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 15.
