Drug Dealer Arrested With 2 Stolen Guns, Heroin, Stratford Police Say

STRATFORD, Conn. — A 27-year-old suspected drug dealer was found with two stolen guns and heroin in his possession when officers executed a search warrant at his Stratford home, police said.

The Stratford Police Narcotics Unit began in investigation in October into narcotics sales in town by George Siler, 27, of Stratford, police said. 

Siler was providing low- and mid-lever dealers with heroin, according to information gained throughout the police investigation. Investigators obtained a search warrant for Siler’s residence at 943 Success Ave., police said.

The warrant was executed Tuesday, Dec. 12, by members of the department’s Special Response Team.

Siler was found to be in possession of two stolen handguns, heroin and drug-packaging materials, police said.

He was taken into custody and charged with operating a drug factory, sale of narcotics, sales within 1,500 feet of a daycare, two counts of illegal transfer of a firearm, obliterated serial number,  theft of firearm, two counts of criminal possession of a firearm and criminal possession of ammunition.

Siler was held on $250,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 19.
