STRATFORD, Conn. — A fisherman was pulled from his 50-foot trawler into the chilly waters of Long Island Sound off the coast of Stratford by a large fish Saturday afternoon, according to the Connecticut Post.
The Coast Guard did not know what kind of fish the unidentified man had hooked, but it pulled him overboard, the Post said.
Another boater rescued him about 10 minutes later and returned him to his boat, which was registered at Brewer Marina in Stratford, the Post said.
