Erskine Scott, 64, of Highway 221, Camden, was charged with operating under the influence of drugs or alcohol, police said.

Around 3:30 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the area of Post Road East and Main Street on a report of a black Toyota Corolla driving erratically and pulling into the Sunoco station on Riverside Avenue.

The officer found Scott asleep at the wheel with the car still in drive, police said. He failed field sobriety tests and a breath test showed he was over the legal limit, police said.

He was held on $2,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on July 17.
