Police Pursuit Of Car After I-95 Accident Ends In Fiery Crash In Stratford

STRATFORD, Conn. — A car fleeing the scene of a crash on I-95 south slammed into a police car and burst into flames in Stratford, according to the Hartford Courant.

The first crash occurred at about 9:45 p.m. Saturday near Exit 41 for Marsh Hill Road in Orange, State Trooper Kelly Grant told the Courant.

Police chased one of the vehicles 15 miles south to Exit 32 for West Broad Street in Stratford, where it slammed into a police car and caught fire, the Courant said.

No serious injuries were reported, according to the Courant. No further details were released on the crashes or any charges.
