Police: Stratford Man Found Slumped Over Wheel Of Car

STRATFORD, Conn. -- A Stratford man was arrested in Milford after police found him slumped over the steering wheel of a car at an intersection, according to police.

At around 3 a.m. Sunday, police in Milford responded to the area of Park Avenue and Broadway on a report of a vehicle blocking the roadway. When officers arrived, they found Michael Nunno, 36, of Stratford, slumped over the wheel while the car was still running at the intersection. Police said they also found a small amount of marijuana, rolling papers and a glass pipe.

Nunno refused to provide a breath sample when given the opportunity, according to police. He was charged with driving under the influence, interfering with an officer, possession of less than one half-ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
