A store employee reportedly watched Bryant Irby, 27, attempt to leave the story without paying for the cereal. The employee allegedly warned Irby and called the police. Irby then threatened the employee, the Stamford Advocate said.
Irby left the store with the cereal. He was stopped by police on Main Street where the altercation occurred. Irby was detained and held on $25,000 bond, the Stamford Advocate said.
