STRATFORD, Conn. -- Stratford Police arrested six people as part of an investigation into prostitution services being advertised online, according to the Connecticut Post.

Police told the Connecticut Post that detectives placed ads on several websites including Backpage, Cityvibe and Craigslist, advertising prostitution services. They arranged meetings with four men at a local hotel, where an undercover officer posed as a prostitute, the Connecticut Post reported.

Once each of the four men arrived at the hotel, they gave money to the undercover officer and began to undress, at which point they were arrested, according to the Connecticut Post.

The four men were identified as 30-year-old Jason Flaster of Trumbull, 38-year-old Gandhi Nikunj of Wilton, 30-year-old Anthony Girardi of Bridgeport and 27-year-old Chadd Sullo of Milford, and all were charged with patronizing a prostitute and released on a promise to appear in court, according to the Connecticut Post.

In addition, undercover officers also answered advertisements for two women on Backpage, and arranged to meet them at the hotel, according to the Connecticut Post. Once money was exchanged, the two women, identified as 21-year-old Erica Calloway of Henderson, NV and Yuyun Xu of Flushing, N.Y., were arrested and charged with prostitution, according to the Connecticut Post.
