Stratford Cops Report Increase In Car And Trailer Burglaries

STRATFORD, Conn. -- Stratford police are warning residents to remember to lock their cars and trailers following a string of recent thefts, according to the Connecticut Post.

Police said the area has experienced an increase in thefts of tires and rims from Honda cars and in power equipment from unlocked trailers, said the Connecticut Post.

In an effort to stop the crimes, the Stratford Police Department is encouraging all residents to follow some safety tips which begins with locking their doors and not leaving any valuables in their vehicles or trailers, added the Connecticut Post.
