Stratford Cornhole Tournament To Benefit Muscular Dystrophy Association

STRATFORD, Conn. -- Tickets are still available for a cornhole tournament/fundraiser Saturday set to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA).

The event, which costs $20 to enter, is being sponsored by the Stratford Fire Department, which has scheduled the tournament at Two Roads Brewing Co. to begin at noon on Saturday.

According to a Facebook post advertising the event, the $20 entry fee comes with a beer, and prizes will be awarded to the winning teams.

Money raised from the tournament will be donated to the MDA, which, according to its website, works to bring relief to those affected by muscular dystrophy, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and related diseases by raising awareness and funding research for a cure.
