Stratford Coulple Charged With Cruelty, Failure To Vaccinate Animals

STRATFORD, Conn. -- Police charged a Stratford couple with animal cruelty after finding 17 cats and dogs in poor health in their home, according to Connecticut Post.

Virginia Ready, 58, and her husband Daniel Ready, 60, were also charged with failure to vaccinate animals, Connecticut Post reported. 

Police found the floors of their Porter Street home covered in animal feces and urine, said Connecticut Post. 

Police reported that several of the dozen cats and five dogs were found with missing hear, fleas and in poor health before being taken to Snowflake Pet Center for evaluation and care, Connecticut Post said.
