STRATFORD, Conn. -- Stratford first responders worked together to save an elderly person going into cardiac arrest Friday morning.

FT Paramedic Dane Johansson and Per Diem EMT Dave Foster responded to the cardiac arrest with Stratford Fire Department Engine 4 first responders and Operations Supervisor/Paramedic Chris Costa.

CPR was in progress when they arrived, and the team worked together to resuscitate the elderly patient. After basic CPR/CCR and advanced cardiac life support was provided by Johansson, Return of Spontaneous Circulation was achieved in the field, EMS officials said.
