Stratford Officials Investigate 2 Suspicious Fires At Vacant House

STRATFORD, Conn. -- Authorities are investigating two intentional fires that occurred within a 24-hour period this week at a vacant multi-family house in Stratford, the Stratford Star reports.

Officials told the Stratford Star that both fires appeared to have been set on the outside of the building, and no injuries were reported. A 911 call at about 2 p.m. Wednesday alerted firefighters to the first fire at the building at 28-30 Riverview Place, the Stratford Star says.

The second fire was reported at about 2 a.m. Thursday. Anyone with information should contact the Stratford public safety officials at (203) 385-4073 or (800) 84 ARSON, the Stratford Star reports.
