Stratford Police Cruiser Involved In Early Morning Crash

STRATFORD, Conn. -- A Stratford Police cruiser rolled over and another car caught fire after a crash on Main Street on Tuesday morning, according to the Stratford Star.

Police told the Stratford Star that a detective was driving south on Main Street at around 12:40 a.m. when it collided with another car at the intersection with Stratford Avenue. The cruiser rolled over and the other car caught fire, the Stratford Star reported.

The 21-year-old female driver of the other car was taken to the hospital, where she was listed as in stable condition, the Stratford Star reported. The detective was treated and released, according to the Stratford Star.

The names of the drivers have not been released, and the investigation into the crash is ongoing, according to the Stratford Star.
