Stratford Shooting Suspect Apprehended In Stamford

STRATFORD, Conn. -- The person suspected in a Stratford shooting Friday was apprehended in Stamford and a handgun and "electronic defense weapon" were taken by police, according to the Connecticut Post.

The shooting Friday near Bruce and Hollister avenues left a man with wounds that were not life-threatening, the Connecticut Post report said.

The suspect was arrested in Stamford with the help of city police there, said the Connecticut Post. 

The suspect was identified as Rodney Johnson Jr. , 20, according to the Connecticut Post.

The arrest was at the home of the suspect's father, the Connecticut Post said.
