Stratford Woman Charged With Spitting On Ex-Boyfriend In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Conn., -- More than two months after she allegedly spit on her ex-boyfriend's face a Stratford woman turned herself in to police on Saturday.

Alanah M. Cook, 21, turned herself in after learning there was a warrant for her arrest. She was was charged with breach of peace and released after posting a $1,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday. 

Police said that the ex-boyfriend and Cook have in infant daughter in common. He told police that she allegedly harasses him but that he tries to stay civil for the sake of their daughter. 

On Dec. 12 police said that Cook allegedly spit at her ex-boyfriend when she arrived at his residence to pick up a car seat. Police made several attempts to reach Cook but were unable to make contact with her. Police then applied for a warrant for her arrest.
