The 15-year-old was sitting on the porch at around 8:20 p.m. when he heard gunshots and noticed that he had been shot in the arm, the Connecticut Post reported. He did not see any shooters before or after, but a witness told police that they saw the shots being fired from a car that drove by, according to the Connecticut Post.

Police are investigating, and have not said whether the shooting was gang-related, according to the Connecticut Post. It took place near an area where two gang-related shootings took place last year, the Connecticut Post reported.
