Two Charged With Assault Outside Norwalk Salon

NORWALK, Conn. — Two women were charged with chasing down someone and beating them up outside a nail salon in Norwalk, according to the Hour.

Police told the Hour that 20-year-old Kelly Thomas of Stratford and 20-year-old Jaid Addison of Norwalk assaulted the victim on Main Street Monday afternoon. The victim had a protective order against Thomas, and saw the two women in the salon, the Hour reported. When the victim tried to leave, Thomas and Addison chased the victim down, knocked them to the ground, and punched and kicked the victim, according to the Hour. They also took the victim's wallet, the Hour reported.

Both were charged with sixth-degree larceny and third-degree assault, and Thomas was additionally charged with violations of release, tampering or fabricating, the Hour reported. Bond was set at $100,000 for Thomas and $75,000 for Addison, according to the Hour.
