Erin Smith was given the Distinguished Achievement Award which recognizes and commends individuals who have given of their time and talents to improve the level of pre-hospital care.
Helen “Bunnie” McQuilton received the Gillooly – Lawton Award for Exceptional Providers who consider EMS as a career path.
“these awards are a testament to their professionalism, hard work and dedication but they are also representative of the professionalism and high performance of our organization as whole," Stratford EMS Director Michael Loia said. "We are proud of all our members and are steadfast in our commitment to providing high-quality EMS to the residents of Stratford. Both Erin and Bunnie exemplify those characteristics and are deserving of this important recognition.”
