Would-Be Primary Candidates In Stratford Fail To Get Required Signatures

STRATFORD, Conn. -- Both Mark Scheck and Michael Singh of Stratford failed to meet the threshold of required signatures to become primary candidates in races this August, according to the Stratford Star.

Scheck had only 300 signatures out of the 313 he needed. He wanted to challenge Republican Registrar of Voters Lou DeCilio, reported the Stratford Star.

Singh had only 190 signatures out of the 271 he needed. He wanted to challenge Rep. Joe Gresko for the Democratic nomination for the 121st District seat in the General Assembly, the Stratford Star said.
