School Principal Carla Armistead was able to reschedule the trip to the Litchfield County campground for May 31 to June 1, said the Stratford Star report.

Parents can opt to have their kids embark on an extended daytrip, according to the Stratford Star.

The trip previously set for the April 30 to May 1 weekend was switched to just a daytrip, upsetting Chapel Street parents.

The change was made because some teachers withdrew from being chaperones amid allegations that a former teacher's aide and tutor had an inappropriate relationship with a student, reported the Stratford Star.
