The 4-3 vote means Mayor John Harkins and Stratford government officials can turn the former school into a "transit-oriented development" as has been expressed, said the Stratford Star.

Board of Education Chairman James Feehan told the Stratford Star that the town already owns the school and that the move is a formal one.
