Stratford Schools Offering Parents SEE Program To Teach Leadership

STRATFORD, Conn. -- The Stratford School Readiness and Child Care Advisory Council will offer another cycle of Parents Supporting Excellence in Education this January.

Parents SEE is offered in cooperation with Stratford Public Schools. This parent leadership training program is being offered to parents, foster parents and grandparents of Stratford Public Schools children in prekindergarten through grade three. The program will be held at Stratford Academy/Johnson House (Stratford Parents’ Place and Early Childhood Services Office) in winter and spring beginning on Jan. 30.

This free course includes a five-hour Saturday retreat and continues for 12 Wednesdays from 5:30-9 p.m. with dinner. Child care is also provided.
