STRATFORD, Conn. -- Lordship Elementary School is looking for community members to participate in its second annual Adult Golf and Luncheon Fundraiser at Short Beach Golf Course/Knapp’s Landing Restaurant in Stratford on Saturday, May 21.
The event will help raise funds for the 2016-17 PTA budget. The funds raised will support the school's partnership with the Norwalk Maritime Center, a vibrant arts and culture event schedule, assistance with budget items like Nature’s Classroom, class field trips, classroom supplies and student enrichment.
Community members can join in the golf and/or lunch or promote their businesses through a sponsorship or raffle. If you can participate in any way, email committee chairs Patricia Pivarnik and Jaime Farrell at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The event begins at 9 a.m.; shotgun start (8:30 a.m. registration).
The golfing will take place at Short Beach Golf Course at 1 Dorne Drive, Stratford. The luncheon that follows will be held at Knapp’s Landing Restaurant, 520 Sniffens Lane, Stratford.
