Superintendent Fires Stratford Teacher Accused Of Sexual Assault

STRATFORD, Conn. – A Stratford elementary school teacher facing sexual assault charges has been fired by the superintendent of schools, according to the Stratford Star.

Teacher Michelle Sulzicki was fired by the Stratford superintendent of schools on Thursday after she turned herself into police regarding contact she had with a minor.

Michelle Sulzicki, 28, received a termination notice on Thursday, after turning herself in to police on Wednesday, the story said.

The Oxford woman is facing multiple charges stemming from three years of contact with a preteen student she was tutoring, reported the Stratford Star. The boy reported he may be the father of her infant, the Star said. 

Sulzicki was released on bond and will appear in Bridgeport Superior Court Nov. 3.
