About 30 customers lost water due to break, which closed Main Street between Broadbridge Avenue and West Broad Street for much of the day on Saturday.
original story: STRATFORD, Conn. — Aquarion is working on repairing a major water main break in Stratford Center on Saturday morning, according to Mayor John Harkins.
The break was reported after 11 a.m. Saturday on Main Street near the Metro-North station in downtown Stratford.
The estimated restoration time was six to eight hours, Harkins said on Facebook. Drivers were urged to avoid the area in Stratford Center.
