Fog, Rain And Maybe Snow: Wet Weather Marks Week In Stratford

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — A warm front moving through Fairfield County will bring a couple days of wet weather and fog along with slightly higher temperatures to start the week, though there is a chance of snow hitting toward the end of the week.

There will be a drizzle before noon Monday, followed by rain and showers in the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. There will also be areas of fog. The high will be near 52, with light winds. The chance of precipitation is 90 percent. Monday night will see cloudy weather and a chance of rain, with a low around 42.

On Tuesday there is a 30 percent chance of rain, with a high near 56. There will be a calm wind. Tuesday night will likely see rain, with a low around 40.

The rain will likely be followed by a couple days of clear weather. Wednesday will be mostly cloudy in the morning, then gradually clearing. The high will be near 52. Wednesday night will be clear, with a low around 31. Thursday will be sunny with a high near 51, and Thursday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 34.

Friday there is a chance of rain before 9 a.m., then a chance of rain. The high will be near 48. The chance of precipitation is 50 percent. Friday night will se a 50 percent chance of rain, with a low around 37.
