“The goal of each team is to be as diverse and inclusive as possible,” said Renee Troxler, autism project manager. “I would like to specially thank Ruth Fontilla of the Cub Scouts for organizing this fun summer activity along with Joe Gargiulo of Pinewood Pro.”

The derby is recommended for children ages 5-12. Parents must stay and watch their children participate.

The Kennedy Center has partnered with Middlebrook's Cub Scout Pack 486 and Trumbull's Frenchtown Elementary School for the event.

The derby will take place between 2-4 p.m.

Space is limited, so advance registration is required by contacting The Kennedy Center’s Autism Project at 203-908-3913 or e-mailing Troxler at rtroxler@kennedyctr.org.
