STRATFORD, Conn. — The children of the woman whose body was found washed ashore in Stratford on Monday morning identified her as a 52-year-old Stratford resident who loved the shoreline, the Connecticut Post said
Colleen Ann Kelly, a graduate of Stratford High School with three grown children, cared for an elderly client and had worked at Home Depot in Fairfield, the Connecticut Post said. Born in Bridgeport, she was a proud member of the Penobscot Tribe, the Post said.
Police were investigating her death, which was believed to be due to drowning, the Post said.
She was found fully clothed on the beach near Marnick’s Restaurant, the Post said.
