STRATFORD, Conn. – Former Stratford schoolteacher Michelle Sulzicki, who is accused of having a sexual relationship with a male student, will return to court Jan. 14, 2016, reports the Stratford Star .
Sulzicki, 28, appeared in Superior Court briefly on Tuesday, and her case was continued, according to the Star. She has pleaded not guilty to first-degree sexual assault, second-degree sexual assault, illegal sexual contact with a minor and risk of injury to a minor.
Sulzicki, an Oxford resident and former teacher at Chapel Street Elementary School, turned herself in to police Oct. 14. Police say she had sex multiple with a 12-year-old boy beginning three years ago while she was tutoring him.
Stratford School Superintendent Janet Robinson fired Sulzicki from her job in October.
