STRATFORD, CONN. -- Linda Mae Quiriconi Chizmadia, a lifelong area resident, died Saturday, Oct. 10. She was 53.
Born June 25, 1962 in Bridgeport to the late Anthony Joseph Quiriconi and Audrey Jeanne Cunningham, she was a 1980 graduate of Stratford High School.
Chizmadia worked at People's Bank in Bridgeport, and enjoyed traveling, baking and cooking.
She is survived by sons, David Redmond, John Chizmadia Jr., and Kevin Chizmadia and their father John Chizmadia. She also is suvived by her sister, Diane Quiriconi Desjarlais and husband Robert Desjarlais and godson, Robert Anthony Desjarlais of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.; and best friend and niece Lisa Poirier McCormick and husband James McCormick of Atlanta, as well as her niece Jennifer Couture.
She was predeceased by her stepmother Ruth Caruso, but is survived by stepbrothers Daniel, Frederick and Michael Caruso; and stepsister Nancy Caruso, all of Fairfield.
A visitation is planned for 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford. A Mass will be conducted at 9 a.m. Friday at St. James Church 2070 Main St., Stratford.
Interment will be in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield. In lieu of flowers donations in Linda's memory can go to SPCA, 359 Springhill Road Monroe, CT 06468.
