Lockdown Lifted, Arrests Pending At Stratford High School

STRATFORD, Conn. — A fight possibly involving a knife led to a lockdown at Stratford High School this morning, according to Stratford police.

“There was a fight at Stratford High School this morning,” read a tweet from the department’s Twitter account. “Someone alleged that a knife was displayed and the school was placed in lockdown for precaution.”

The lockdown was lifted a few hours later after the individuals involved were identified and secured.

Police said the fight was isolated and there was no threat to other students, faculty or the public.

Two arrests are pending.
